Several times a year, the

Tustin Chamber and City of

Tustin host a Business

Outreach Luncheon with

the city’s top employers

and business leaders.

 

The Business and Economic Development Council (BEDC) assists in the development of new business opportunities, supports existing business expansion, and works in conjunction with the City of Tustin to provide resources and services to the Tustin business community. The Council also markets and promotes Tustin’s business and community image.

Roles of the Council encompass:

  • Monitoring and supporting growth and development of business in Tustin.
  • Developing programs, in cooperation with other stakeholders, to encourage development of business opportunities and strategic alliances as they arise.
  • Helping to improve the competitiveness of local companies.
  • Supporting growth and development in Old Town Tustin.
  • Ensuring that the needs of existing businesses are met.
  • Creating resources for new businesses coming into Tustin with a focus on Tustin Legacy.
  • Promoting access to, and expansion of, venture capital sources to facilitate the development and marketing of Tustin businesses.
 
The Council meets regularly on the 2nd Thursday of each month, 8:00 am in the Tustin Chamber of Commerce Board Room.
