| Due to its favorable location, demographics and business environment, Tustin was identified in 1994 by California Business Magazine as one of the top four Best Places for Business in California (and the highest ranked urban city on the list). In 1998 the “1998 Kostmont Cost of Doing Business Survey” rated Tustin as the top Orange County city for business. And in 2003, Money Magazine ranked Tustin the No. 4 “Hottest Place to Live” in the western region with a population of less than 100,000. |

| Tustin is home to several of the world’s largest and best known manufacturing companies. The business community of Tustin represents a broad spectrum of businesses. On the upper end, large manufacturers such as Ricoh Electronics, Inc. are located here, and these are complemented by a host of small sole proprietor and home-based businesses. |
| |
| The industrial parks that house Ricoh Electronics, Inc., Dawn Food Products and other manufacturers are predominantly in South Tustin, near the former Marine base, now known as Tustin Legacy. Commercial business parks are also located in the same area and in the vicinity of Red Hill, Edinger and Walnut Avenues. |
